Let's Get
Into Trouble Baby
NOW SHOWING
This music series ran from January of 1995 to September 1996. First started on Tucson Cablevision Access programing, a commercial run of 12 episodes appeared in the Tucson market on the local cable network in mid 1996, about the time Sound and Fury Productions was formed. We would cram 2 bands into a 1-hour time slot, have mysterious host Speedy Dan annouce the next act and shoot their performance with 3-4 cameras.

Sound and Fury was not editing digitally at that time, so we would have someone like Foghorn Montana (up above) hold a clap board to a microphone and wait for all the cameras to catch it. Then use it as reference for sync through an A/V mixer.

Bands and fans alike loved the show. Speedy would be hanging out off to the side observing the act possibly bobbing his head up and down to the music. Bands would look out for this sought after "Speedy Knod" of approval.

As fans of the local music scene, we found the arduous task rewarding, even with very little support from the local businesses. The concept of the show was to enable people to watch and hear a band they wouldn't otherwise see; then, in support of the music scene in Tucson, be compelled to get off their couches, risk DUI harrassment by Tucson's finest and see the band perform live.

Keep checking back as we steal away time to post episodes of LGIT- commercial or noncommercial in it's entirety for your miniaturized viewing (and listening) pleasure. Who knows, maybe we'll have Speedy shave his beard and pull him out of retirement for another round...

We hope you enjoy them as much as we have in putting them together.
